Brauhaus Turns Three, Tears Down Wall

UPDATED: Tonight is the third anniversary of Brauhaus Schmitz. The German bar and restaurant always knows how to throw a good celebration and tonight will be no different. It all starts with happy hour between 5 and 7 p.m. with all drafts discounted to $3. From 7 to 10 p.m.Hofbrauhaus Traunstein Pilsner and Arcobrau Dunkel will stay at $3. Doug Hager and his staff will also be offering light fare including Sarcone’s hoagies, Santucci’s pizza as well as sausage for the assembled. The regular menu will be available through 10 p.m.

Today is also the day that owner Doug Hager will was to knock through the wall from the original area into the new expansion space (As Hager says in the comments, his contractor is behind). The second room is aiming for a grand opening party on July, 19th.
