Taste of Revel Offers Celebrity Chefs at Every Turn
Revel in Atlantic City is collaborating with Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure to throw a humungous celebrity chef driven food event on the weekend starting Friday, May 18th. Taste of Revelrunsthrough Sunday the 20th with Revel’s Iron Chefs, Michelin star earners and James Beard Award winners hosting a weekend of parties, tasting events and dinners. And the prices aren’t too bad all things considered.

Friday
Kickoff Bash with Revel Chefs: Enjoy a fresh spin on boardwalk classics, including crabcakes by Robert Wiedmaier, fried chicken from Michel Richard and shrimp cocktail by Marc Forgione. $95
Pastry Party with Michel Richard: Richard will create indulgent desserts including his signature chocolate bar, tempting sweets and fun cocktails. $75
Saturday
Big Fish Breakdown with Chef Alain Allegretti and Joe Buonadonna: Chef Allegretti shares his secrets for preparing a whole tuna in this demonstration and tasting event. $100
Conquer the Steak with Chef Marc Forgione: Marc Forgione teaches about various cuts of beef, flavor profiles, marbling, as well as the secrets to cooking each cut. Sample the different cuts along with wine pairings. $85
Art of Paella with Chef Jose Garces: Learn about the preparation of this traditional Spanish dish from Jose Garces while enjoying sangria and tapas. Then get down with the lobster and seafood paella. $85
Beer & Cheese Pairing with Chef Robert Wiedmaier: Chef Wiedmaier teaches how to best match Belgian beer with artisanal cheese. $65
World Cup Wine Tasting with Anthony Giglio: Sommelier and educator Anthony Giglio hosts The World Cup Wine Happy Hour, a relaxed tasting of more than a half-dozen wines from around the world. The crowd favorite takes home the Cup. $85
VIP Dinner with Robert Wiedmaier or Michel Richard: $300 per couple
Sunday
Pig Out: Go whole hog as multiple Revel chefs and restaurants give their take on pork, including Chef Jose Garces’ whole roasted suckling pig. Also grab a taste of dishes like Chef Marc Forgione’s tete de cochon or Chef Robert Wiedmaier’s pork belly. Anthony Giglio will also pick the wines to pair with all that pork. $100
