Shucking Contest at Oyster House Today

Today at 2 p.m.Oyster House will host its third annual Shucking Contest, featuring professional and amateur oyster shuckers from across Philadelphia.

The pros will be competing for a $200 Grand Prize while the amateurs can take home $100 in Oyster House Gift certificates.

$5 admission gets you in and lets you sample the shucked oysters. Also look for a local firkin of beer on special during the event.
