East Falls Report: Cocktails and a New Gastropub
The Attic, upstairs from Falls Taproom
The Falls Taproom on Midvale Avenue has a rather impressive beer list and now you can get handcrafted cocktails upstairs. Open since Saturday, the Attic is a prohibition era inspired cocktail bar serving classics and their own creations like the Laurel Hill, made with Scotch and cider, served warm.
Up the hill at Cresson and Bowman is Frankin’s East Falls. A self-described gastropub, the bar features 14 draft lines and poutine on the menu. The owners also run McKinley’s Tavern in Elkins Park.
