Focusing On Fish

Mike Stollenwerk has amassed a bit of a seafood empire over the past several years but now is narrowing his focus as he has announced he is selling Little Fish and Fathom Seafood House. Stollenwerk will be concentrating his effort on the new fish location, slated to open this November at 13th and Locust.

Chef de Cuisine Chadd Jenkins will be taking over Little Fish and offers are reportedly on the table for Fathom Seafood House. Both spots remain open.

Stollenwerk says, “right now, all I want to do is to make Fish the best that it can be.” The new fish will feature a kitchen three times as big as the original and will allow Stollenwerk and his team to extend their vision and add things they couldn’t before, like lunch.

As for Stollenwerk’s Brewerytown project, that will be delayed as the focus is on 13th and Locust. Look for that project to heat up in time for spring 2012.
