Today is Mexican Independence Day. We alrady told you what Johnny Brenda’s has planned but of course they’re not the only ones celebrating. Cantina Los Caballitos is celebrating with plenty of fun. There will be photo booth and a bevy of special beverages.

Saturday

Monk’s Cafe is always the home of rare beers and tomorrow will be no exception. Brasserie Cantillon’s Zwanze 2011 will be tapped at 3 p.m. in the back bar of the Belgian bar. Zwanze is a one-off beer produced yearly by the esteemed brewery. Only 21 bars in the world have the beer. If you go, arrive early and bring cash, it is a cash-only event.

Looking for an early fall day trip. Consider heading out to Chester County and Wyebrook Farm where they’re having a pig roast.
