Yo Ho Ho And A Day Of Rum

it’s National Rum Day and both Cuba Libre and Rum Bar are celebrating. During happy hour at Cuba Libre all rums and rum cocktails will be half-off.

At Rum Bar they’re extending the celebration all week. Tonight Brugal & Barritt’s Dark and Stormys are $3.  Brugal is the Dominican Republic’s top selling rum and Barritt’s is the Domincan’s preferred Ginger Beer. The drinks are $3 all night.

Thursday Rum Bar is hosting the Rum Punch Social with punches, painkillers and other potent potables for $6. RSVP to the Facebook event and the first drink is free. On Saturday it will be a rum fueled 80s dance party with cocktails inspired by nostalgia for the decade. Sample Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure (Brugal Anejo Rum, Crème de Banana, Castries Peanut Rum Crème, and Pineapple) or the Wally World (Brugal Anejo Rum, Crème de Banana, Castries Peanut Rum Crème, and Pineapple).
