Tonight: A Trio of Choices

Tonight we present a trio of good ideas. As we told you earlier this week, The Corner’s John Taus is presenting the first of his rooftop barbecues.

Pub & Kitchen is hosting a Bells beer dinner and has this lovely poster to prove it.

And finally, Chifa and Oskar Blues are doing a special Latin-Asian BBQ and cans dinner. $65 per person menu is after the jump.

Chilled Corn Soup with purple potato, lovage and lime-dale espuma;

“Pasta Salad” with soba noodles, edamame and sesame-peanut

Oysters on the Half Shell with Lil Yella Pils, watermelon and black pepper

Curried Deviled Eggs with wasabi salt;  Assorted Pickles, including summer squash and watermelon

Peruvian Potato Salad with boquerones, capers, garlic and mint

Korean Hot Dog on bao bun with spicy mustard and sorrel

BBQ Wings with tamarind-orange sauce

Shrimp Summer Rolls with poached shrimp, pickled carrots, scallions and herbs

Pie Two Ways, featuring peach crumb and blueberry “pie” push-pops for dessert.

Oskar Blues Beers will include Mama’s Little Yella Pils, Old Chub, G’Knight Imperial Red Double IPA, Ten Fidy Imperial Stout.
