Suburban Snacks: Avalon Opens in Downingtown, Brew Pub for Ardmore
Avalon Pasta Bistro opens next week in Downingtown. The second restaurant from John Brandt-Lee who also owns Avalon Restaurant in West Chester is a BYOB with large outdoor patio. The menu focuses on homemade pastas, flat breads, salads, cheese and antipasti. And through a deal with Victory Brewing, the restaurant will have two taps to provide complimentary pints of Victory beer to guests. [Avalon Pasta Bistro]

Serial bar mover Jolly Weldon is opening another spot, this one in Morton, Delaware County. Mammoni Cucina Rustica will be the name, South Philly Italian style will be the game. Michael Klein says another Jolly’s is planned for the location later in the summer. [The Insider]
