“Chinese-izing American Food”


Sam Jacobson (Sycamore) and David Ansill (Ladder 15) are joining up with Han Chiang at Old City’s Han Dynasty for a special collaboration dinner on Monday, December 13th.

The menu isn’t fully set but the theme is Western dishes using Sichuan and Asian flavors, or as Chiang calls it, “Chinese-izing American food.” Among the dishes being considered:

  • Sichuan Salmon Carpaccio
  • Tea-Smoked Ribs
  • Sweetbreads
  • Warm Ginger Cake with Sichuan Peppercorn Ice Cream and Sriracha Caramel.

The collaborative dinner will feature 7-courses for $40.
