Lari Robling reviews Paloma, the haute Mexican that has moved to Bella Vista from Northeast Philadelphia.

The Wild Mushroom Flan ($10.50) was satisfying enough to make a nice vegetarian entree. The mushrooms added earthiness to the custard and a cilantro pesto created a light note.

For the entrees, the Relleno de Puerco ($26) provided an interesting mix of textures and flavors. This pork tenderloin roll was stuffed with a light spinach mouse and a wrapping of crisp bacon provided textural contrast and smokiness. A chorizo tomato coulis pulled the flavors together with a touch of spice and acid.
