Watkins Drinkery Opening

The almost three years in the making Watkins Drinkery is finally set to open. The second bar from Jonathan Klein, he also owns The Dive, will open Friday at 5pm. The bar is located at 1712 S 10th Street just south of Morris Street.

The bar features a smart beer list of six drafts (Weyerbacher Autumnfest, Yards George Washington Porter) and a beer engine. The menu is served nightly until 1am and features unusual for a bar ingredients like alligator, venison, bison and rabbit.

Happy hour is a 7-day a week affair from 5 to 7pm with half off all draughts except from the beer engine. Upstairs hosts a pool table, dart board, and a vintage 80’s arcade.
