The Kitchen Sink at Green Eggs Cafe

In our second installment of our Breakfast Pick of the Week we head to South Philadelphia. Green Eggs Cafe has been making a name for itself since opening at 1306 Dickinson Street and for a solid breakfast that you won’t leave hungry there is the Kitchen Sink. Served in an iron skillet, as if it needs more heft, this $8.50 bargain consists of two eggs with cheese, potatoes, breakfast meat and is topped with a jumbo biscuit and sausage gravy. It’s a dense breakfast dish but serves as a great cure for yesterday’s transgressions or provides an ample base for today’s.
