Top Chef Tea Leaves
10 Arts Bistro & Lounge is hosting two weeks of Top Chef parties as Jennifer Carroll is competing in the two-part finale and we’re playing read the press release tea leaves.
On Wednesday, December 2, guests are invited to watch the Top Chef culinary action unfold from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Fans can savor Chef Carroll’s $35, three-course Bistro Supper menu or relax in the lounge with cocktails and light bites. The season finale will be shown on large flat-screen TVs throughout the bistro and lounge. Guests can purchase a “Bet on Jen†button for one dollar each. Proceeds will be donated to Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization.
On Wednesday, December 9, fans are invited to watch the Top Chef finale via a special prix fixe dinner and celebratory screening in the lounge. Guests joining 10 Arts for dinner will partake in a special, multi-course dinner prepared by Chef Carroll and Pastry Chef Monica Glass, highlighting the best of the regional harvest. As a memento of the evening, each guest will receive an autographed menu from Chef Carroll. The dinner is priced at $65 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, and is the sole menu option of the evening.
Throughout the night, guests can watch the final three chef’testants battle for the title of “Top Chef,†while sipping complimentary vodka and champagne tastings, and can take part in a champagne toast to honor Chef Carroll. Specially priced cocktails from 10 Arts’ new drink menu will be available throughout the evening, such as The Ri-Pear, made with Grey Goose La Poire, muddled pear, simple sugar and a splash of white cranberry. Guests can enjoy Chef Carroll’s light bites like her signature Warm Soft Pretzels, served with creamy cheddar sauce, jalapeno jam and dijon mustard.
