Dr. G. Ross Segal is a Board-Certified Orthodontist and co-owner of Bryn Mawr Orthodontics. He has been recognized as a Philadelphia Magazine Top Dentist, Main Line Today Top Dentist, Suburban Family Magazine Top Orthodontist, Main Line Parent LOVE award recipient, Jewish Exponent’s Best of Philadelphia Top Orthodontist, and he is a past recipient of Incisal Edge Magazine's national “40 under 40” list of innovative professionals in dentistry. He was co-founder of one of the most successful practices in the Tri-State area and has been creating beautiful smiles for over 20 years.

Dr. Segal was exposed to the life-changing benefits of a beautiful smile at an early age when he began assisting his mom, a successful cosmetic dentist and Harvard educator. His mother’s patients were so enthusiastic about their transformations that he wondered if there was some secret to her method. It turns out there was; she created smiles that perfectly “fit the face” of each patient. As he continued working with his mom, he began to understand the artistic nuances involved in creating beautiful smiles. He learned how to create smiles that complement the individual patient’s face and why that makes such a big difference. That experience helped guide him down the path to becoming an orthodontist and continues to inform his current approach to treating patients.

Dr. Segal’s popular Board-approved seminars on smile esthetics have been attended by hundreds of doctors and other dental professionals. He has been a guest lecturer at Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, and Temple University. His expertise has been sought out by multiple news organizations and he's been featured on 6ABC and Fox29 news. Dr. Segal’s esthetic-based articles have been published in Dentistry IQ, a leading trade publication and his landmark article on orthodontic root resorption has been referenced by authors in over 150 separate publications.

When he’s not treating patients, you might find Dr. Segal skiing with his wife Elana, dancing with his daughter Alexa, wrestling with his son Jordan, or playing with his puppy JoJo. He is also passionate about martial arts, which he has practiced since he was 14 years old. In fact, he may be the only orthodontist anywhere with a fighting cage in his basement.
