This person is no wonder woman.

Philadelphia Police released surveillance footage this morning of a theft from in front of a house in Pennsport. A man and a juvenile female were walking by a house on South Hancock Street at 1:30 a.m. on January 2nd when they spotted a package on a front porch. Surveillance footage appears to show the female attempting to pilfer the package, which is too heavy for her to lift up. She calls her companion over, who picks up the package. The pair walk off.

Here’s what makes it worse: The female is wearing a t-shirt with the Wonder Woman logo on it! In recent years, superhero comic characters have become more diverse than just the typical muscular men of the 20th century. Wonder Woman, the standard-bearer for female superheroes since the 1940s, is even appearing in a movie for the first time later this year. She’s more important now than ever!

And here, Philadelphia’s own Wonder Woman not only turning to a life of crime, but failing to pick up a heavy package. Come on, Wonder Woman — don’t you have superhuman strength? Where’s your Lasso of Truth?
