2015 Philadelphia Election Calendar
Welcome to Citified’s 2015 Philadelphia election calendar. We’re tracking mayoral forums, City Council mud fights, campaign rallies and more. To submit an event, fill out the form at the bottom of this page. We’re going to do our best, but we make no promises that this calendar is comprehensive, and you’d be smart to confirm all event details with the organizers before showing up. Note that many events require pre-registration.
Citified and Philly mag are sponsoring a few exciting events of our own.
On Feb. 23, we’ll kick off our Candidate Conversation series. These are casual, up-close Q&A sessions with individual mayoral candidates, with Citified’s Holly Otterbein and Patrick Kerkstra asking the questions. We think these conversations will give voters a chance to get a real feel for the candidates, and they’ll be hosted by two of the city’s premiere co-working spaces: Pipeline and Venturef0rth. And on March 19, Philadelphia magazine is sponsoring the Better Mobility Mayoral Forum, an event organized by an array of advocacy groups including the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia. The theme: How will the candidates make Philadelphia’s streets and transportation infrastructure safer and more effective for all?
Check the calendar below often. The dates of many debates and forums have not yet been confirmed or published.
(Note to campaigns: Feel free to submit campaign events through the form. We will post the ones we get, but we won’t be actively seeking out information about rallies or any other events organized by candidate campaigns.)
