Frank Keel Is Back with Johnny Doc (For Today, At Least)
In June, a longtime partnership in Philadelphia politics came to an end. Clout reported that John Dougherty and IBEW Local 98 spokesperson Frank Keel had been let go as part of “significant organizational changes.” The Daily News column reported it came as a surprise to Keel.
Well, now they’re back together — but maybe just for today.
Keel told Philly Voice he would have a statement about the FBI raid on Dougherty’s home and the Local 98 offices that took place this morning.

And Fox 29’s Steve Keeley got a comment from Keel, who said he was there today “out of pure friendship.” There were reportedly no hard feelings after Keel was let go. “He told me the union, going forward, is going to be a lot less involved in politics and media issues,” Keel previously told the Daily News.
