ThinkFest Preview: Sam Schwartz
Innovation comes in many forms. Sometimes it’s driven by huge players like Comcast, Google or Amazon. Sometimes it’s driven by small startups hoping to disrupt the marketplace.
Sam Schwartz, chief business development officer of Comcast Cable, knows both sides very well. He’s focused on delivering interactive products for Comcast while building and developing strong partnerships with other businesses. He’s also the founding partner of Comcast Ventures, the venture capital fund that’s made investments in more than 100 early-stage companies.
Like Comcast’s X-1 platform? He also founded and led the team that developed it.
Innovation is his game and he’s got lots to say about it.
At ThinkFest, Schwartz will conduct a talk titled: Made in Philadelphia: How the City of Firsts Continues to Innovate.
Join us on November 14th at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business for a day of the city’s smartest people sharing their biggest ideas. Read all of our ThinkFest 2014 previews here, and watch the livestream, starting at 9 a.m. on Friday November 14th.
