NFL teams are allowed to wear their alternate jerseys twice per season. Sunday’s game marks the first time this year the Eagles will wear their black uniforms. The Eagles will wear all-black for the second and final time during their home game against the New York Giants on Thursday, Dec. 22.
The Eagles first debuted their all-black uniforms during the 2014 season. They’ve worn them four times since then. Their record is 2-2 in those games. The Eagles beat the Giants twice over the past two seasons but lost to the Seattle Seahawks in 2014 and the Arizona Cardinals in 2015.
