Three Eagles Starters ‘Questionable’ For Vikings Game
Ron Brooks, Bennie Logan, Leodis McKelvin and Mychal Kendricks are “questionable” for the Eagles-Vikings game on Sunday as Sam Bradford returns to Philadelphia with an undefeated Minnesota squad. Meanwhile, Allen Barbre, Jason Kelce, Jordan Matthews, Rodney McLeod and Marcus Smith will be available to play.
If Brooks and McKelvin don’t play, Jalen Mills would start at outside corner. In nickel situations, Malcolm Jenkins would slide down to slot corner while Jaylen Watkins plays safety. Beau Allen would start in place of Logan, while Najee Goode could take Kendricks’ spot at weak side linebacker.
Although Logan is listed as “questionable,” he didn’t practice on Wednesday and Thursday and won’t on Friday, so it’s very unlikely he will be available.
“Beau, honestly, was one of the bright spots last week,” Doug Pederson said. “His ability to come off the ball. He’s a bigger-body guy that takes up some good space up front and draws a lot of double teams — he and Fletcher [Cox] both in there. He’s a high-energy guy that doesn’t seem to tire and wear down. If Bennie can’t go, then obviously his workload will increase extensively in the next few games.”
