Eagles Sign QB Bethel-Thompson
Happy training camp eve.
The Eagles signed three players to bring their roster to the max number of 90: quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, linebacker Don Cherry and safety Nick Perry.
Bethel-Thompson was first signed by the Eagles last February before being released in May 17. The 28-year-old has also been with the Niners, Dolphins, Vikings and Patriots.
Cherry is a Villanova product. He posted 331 career tackles, 46 tackles for a loss and 14 sacks en route to All-CAA honors his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
Perry was on Baltimore’s practice squad last season. The Alabama product had 80 tackles, two interceptions and six passes defensed as a senior in 2014.
Rookies and selected vets practice Monday at 8:30 to kick off camp. We’ll have it all covered for you.
