“Philadelphia is a great place and I have a lot of respect for Mr. Lurie and Howie, and we spoke, and I appreciate them, I really do,’’ Murray said. “There was no hard feelings it all.
“I just felt it is best for me and my family to take advantage of another opportunity and this gives me a chance to move on a little bit.”

5:39 — The NFL announced the Chiefs violated the league’s anti-tampering policy in their pursuit of Jeremy Maclin last year.
In addition to lost draft picks, Chiefs’ organization fined $250,000. Andy Reid fined $75,000 and John Dorsey fined $25,000.

Brooks (6-5, 343), played mostly right guard during his four years in Houston. He started 44 of a possible 48 games last year, per Pro Football Reference.
