This news comes just a day after the Eagles interviewed Coughlin for their head coaching vacancy.
With Adam Gase off the board to Miami, Coughlin has been considered one of the more intriguing names connected to the Eagles’ coaching opening.
According to Jason La Canfora, the Eagles aren’t planning on conducting any more interviews for the vacancy in the near future.

La Canfora clarified that more interviews could come after the owner’s meetings, but nothing more will happen beforehand.
Former Eagles head coach Chip Kelly had previously interviewed for the 49ers’ coaching vacancy, and was rumored to be very interested in the job.
