Making Sense Of the Eagles Inactives

The following Eagles are inactive for today’s season finale: Thad Lewis, Jonathan Krause, Seyi Ajirotutu, Byron Maxwell, Jaylen Watkins, Steven Means and Tanner Hawkinson. Bennie Logan was also previously designated to the Injured Reserve list.
With Maxwell out, E.J. Biggers will likely start in his place. Because Watkins is also out, rookie Denzel Rice may play for the first time in sub-packages. Beau Allen is expected to start again with Logan out for the second consecutive week.
As for the Giants wide receiver Dwayne Harris, wide receiver Geremy Davis, safety Cooper Taylor, safety Craig Dahl, offensive lineman Emmett Cleary, defensive end DE Kerry Wynn and tackle Marshall Newhouse are inactive.
