6:26: Another DeMarco Murray update:
With @MikeGarafolo on this one. Cowboys still leaders in DeMarco Murray race. OAK/JAX more realistic than PHI at this point.
— P. Schrager (@PSchrags) March 10, 2015
#Raiders & Jags both want DeMarco Murray & have the most $ but Philly still being very aggressive I’m told
— John Middlekauff (@JohnMiddlekauff) March 10, 2015
5:52: Leaves no doubt:
I’m told Maclin is currently on his way to KC, ink may not be dry but it’s a done deal — John Middlekauff (@JohnMiddlekauff) March 10, 2015
5:44: LeSean McCoy was introduced in Buffalo.

Shady says he was “disappointed” because Eagles and Chip Kelly werent very open about trading him. #Eagles pic.twitter.com/h7JB5TvDGO — John Clark CSN (@JClarkCSN) March 10, 2015
5:42: Might mean nothing. Might mean something.
Suh, Maclin deals not done yet, per league sources. — ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) March 10, 2015
On the same note, the Eagles have not yet announced the Byron Maxwell deal.
5:41: Here’s what we know right now about the Nick Foles–Sam Bradford swap.
5:15 pm: Plan B at running back might be DeMarco Murray.
Adam Caplan on NFL Insiders just said the Eagles and Cowboys free agent RB DeMarco Murray have mutual interest. pic.twitter.com/nFLkvKiPmG — NFL on ESPN (@ESPNNFL) March 10, 2015
I don’t like the cowboys but I do like @DeMarcoMurray …. Come on over to the dark side bro! We’ll treat you good! — Malcolm Jenkins (@MalcolmJenkins) March 10, 2015
In other news: Trent Cole reportedly signed a two-year deal with the Colts. And the Eagles made the LeSean McCoy-Kiko Alonso trade official.
3:59 pm: ESPN’s Adam Schefter just reported that the Eagles are close to trading Nick Foles and picks to the Rams for Sam Bradford. More coming.
3:50 pm: Blockbuster trade involving two NFC teams:
Saints and Seattle have now agreed on trade sending jimmy graham and a 4 to Seattle for max Unger and a 1st — Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) March 10, 2015
3:05 pm: The Eagles are still in need of a starting outside corner. There’s a chance New England’s Brandon Browner could be available.
CB to watch for #Eagles. MT @AlbertBreer: Brandon Browner won’t take a paycut to stay in NE. So either exercise his option, or cut him. — Jeff McLane (@Jeff_McLane) March 10, 2015
1:29 pm: A safety coming off the board:
The expected numbers for Da’Norris Searcy, who appears headed to the #Titans: 4 years, $24M with $10.5M guaranteed. Still finalizing. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 10, 2015
12:51: Conflicting reports on Trent Cole.
Trent Cole does not have a deal with the #Colts, per league source. Several teams still remain interested. — Adam Caplan (@caplannfl) March 10, 2015
12:40: Some more info on the Frank Gore front.
Let’s try this again: Frank Gore plans to sign with Indy, per source; deal expected to be similar to Philly offer: 3-years, $12M, $7.5M gtd. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 10, 2015
Eagles’ offer to Frank Gore around $11m total. @AdamSchefter reports Colts should come in around $12m. I’m told better structure in Yr 1. — Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 10, 2015
12:26: It looks like another former Eagle has made his way to Indy:
The #Colts are signing pass-rusher Trent Cole — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 10, 2015
Colts signing a lot of Ex-Eagles lately. Herremans, Gore (sort of) and now … RT @RapSheet: The #Colts are signing pass-rusher Trent Cole — Geoff Mosher (@GeoffMosherCSN) March 10, 2015
11:19: Per one report, the Eagles showed interest in Andre Johnson, but he could be headed to Indy with Frank Gore.
Got this from someone close to 80: “Dre on owners private jet headed to Indy. He called Gore & they agreed both to Indy. Philly wanted both” — Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) March 10, 2015
11:16: Cross one CB option off the list:
As @rapsheet said, @Jaguars poised to sign CB Davon House for deal avg. $6.25 M. — Adam Caplan (@caplannfl) March 10, 2015
This could have a domino effect if the Packers now turn their attention to bringing Tramon Williams back.
10:37: Some safety news:
One safety the #Eagles are in on: Ron Parker….27 years old, can play both safety and cornerback. — Eliot Shorr-Parks (@EliotShorrParks) March 10, 2015
Former Raiders S Tyvon Branch to the Chiefs. One-year deal. — Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 10, 2015
10:08: Andre Johnson has been a popular name around here since Jeremy Maclin left for Kansas City. According to this report, though, Johnson does not have Philly on the brain. From PFT:
The Texans finally did the right thing and cut receiver Andre Johnson on Monday, putting him on the open market. And now that Johnson is on the open market, he’s looking at four teams, according to his brother. Via Terry Blount of ESPN.com, Andre Johnson’s brother has tweeted Andre’s four preferred destinations: the Patriots, Colts, Seahawks, and Packers.
10:04: Some Eagles-related tidbits from Albert Breer:
1) The Gore reversal definitely caught people off guard here. Offensive coaches were part of the discussion on contingencies last night. — Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 10, 2015
2) Philly’s other miss: Devin McCourty. Source says Eagles were one of 3 teams willing to beat the $9.5M/year the safety got in New England. — Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 10, 2015
3) Add that up, and the Eagles still have a lot of money to spend. They project at more than $30 million under. — Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 10, 2015
10 am: Cary Williams ended up getting a nice payday from the Seahawks, turns out.
Cary Williams’ three-year Seahawks deal is $18 million, gets $7 million 2015, $5 million in 2016 and $6 million in 2017, according to source — Aaron Wilson (@RavensInsider) March 10, 2015
Cary Williams will get $7M in 2015 from Seattle, per @RavensInsider. He had a base salary of $6.5M w/Eagles before being cut. — Geoff Mosher (@GeoffMosherCSN) March 10, 2015
Seattle was apparently trying to hold onto Byron Maxwell but lost out in the bidding to the Eagles. So they turned their attention to the corner the Eagles recently released.
7:27 am: The Cowboys are apparently showing no interest in bringing DeMarco Murray back.
Now we know why DeMarco Murray has deleted Cowboys’ references on his Twitter account: team has not called him since last week, per source. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 10, 2015
7:10 am: What will it take for a team to land Darrelle Revis?
What will it take to pry Revis away from Pats? $48M over first 3 years ($40M fully guaranteed) http://t.co/JqZZ5n4yVO pic.twitter.com/wspBUc1v1y — Manish Mehta (@MMehtaNYDN) March 10, 2015
If you’re wondering about the Eagles, we’d put this in the “pretty much no chance” category. We say “pretty much” because with Chip Kelly, it’d be foolish to categorize anything as no chance. But we’re talking less than 1 percent here.
7:07 am: It looks like the Eagles and Seahawks are swapping cornerbacks.
Cary Williams to join Seahawks over offers from Titans, Jets and Ravens, sources say http://t.co/LGt6kCpkG7 — Aaron Wilson (@RavensInsider) March 10, 2015
For the record, we think Byron Maxwell is the better player but won’t be surprised if Cary Williams plays relatively well in Seattle. He’s going from Nate Allen to Earl Thomas as his middle of the field safety. Meanwhile, as we noted yesterday, it looks like Frank Gore is headed to the Colts.
Okay. You guys are killing me. #FrankGore #thememories #Eagles pic.twitter.com/iiBnxSxzdG — Brandyn Campbell (@sports_muse) March 10, 2015
No word yet on when Gore will officially go into the Eagles Hall Of Fame, but we’ll keep you posted when the announcement is made.
