Gore To Eagles? Not So Fast
Frank Gore has apparently gotten cold feet.
News spread far and wide Sunday that Gore had agreed to a three-year deal ($7.5 million guaranteed in first two years) with the Eagles. Contracts cannot be signed until 4 p.m. Tuesday when the legal tampering period of free agency ends and the league year begins, however, and it sounds like Gore has had a change of heart.
Free agent shocker: Frank Gore reconsiders potential/pending deal with the #Eagles, I’m told.

With negotiations still ongoing — no deals are final — keep an eye on the #Colts for the coveted services of RB Frank Gore. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 9, 2015
Told by a friend of Gore’s that he was in tears last night. Obviously conflicted. Has been curious abt Colts, working w/ Luck for some time.

Meanwhile, everyone seems afraid to say it given how we got here but all indications are RB Frank Gore is intent on joining the Colts.

It looks like the Eagles might need to go to Plan B. DeMarco Murray, C.J. Spiller and Ryan Matthews top Rotoworld‘s list of free-agent backs. Justin Forsett, Shane Vereen and Stevan Ridley are also on the market.
More as it becomes available.
