Seahawks general manager John Schneider seemed to acknowledge that they might have to let Maxwell walk given the sizable market that awaits.
It’s of little surprise that the Eagles are interested in Maxwell, who is considered the top corner on the market and has the measurable and versatility that Chip Kelly is drawn to. Whether they ultimately land him is to be determined.
Cary Williams Update
Elsewhere on the corner front, a league source indicated that there have been no discussions between the Eagles and Cary Williams about his future with the team as of yet.
The Eagles are likely waiting to see what free agency nets before deciding how to proceed. Williams is scheduled to make $6.5 million this season.
