Nick Foles suffered an apparent clavicle injury late in the first quarter against the Texans.

“He’s in a sling right now, that’s all I’ve got,” said Chip Kelly after the game. ”

Ed Kracz is reporting that Foles’ clavicle is broken. If so, that injury could keep the QB sidelined for four-to-six weeks.

Foles dropped back on 3rd-and 15 from the Houston 47 and was sacked by linebacker Whitney Mercilus. His non-throwing shoulder was driven into the ground on the playHe was slow to get up and was favoring his left shoulder as he walked slowly to the sideline.

After a brief evaluation by the trainers, Foles was sent to the locker room to have X-rays taken.

Mark Sanchez replaced Foles under center and went 15-of-22 for 202 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

“That’s tough,” said Sanchez of the loss of Foles and DeMeco Ryans on Sunday. “The most important thing is to switch your focus from lamenting over a guy that is hurt and you have to get your focus on the game. That’s coach’s policy: next man up, something happens you have to be ready to go and I think we were.”
