Report: Herremans Has Torn Biceps
Todd Herremans has a torn biceps in his left arm but will try to play this week against the Texans, according to the Inquirer’s Jeff McLane.
Herremans left the field briefly late in the game against the Cardinals before returning to action. The tape shows him essentially trying to block with one arm down the stretch. The 32-year-old was at practice Tuesday and lined up with the first team, though it was a light training session with no contact.
More from the report:
With left guard Evan Mathis a week from coming off Injured Reserve, Herremans may be hoping to last just one more game. Matt Tobin has been starting in place of Mathis. Dennis Kelly would be the likely replacement for Herremans, although he wasn’t active against the Cardinals and Andre Gardner stepped in.
Jason Kelce is gearing up in attempt to play this week in Houston. The hope was to have the projected starting five back together next Monday against Carolina. Now, it seems less likely.
