Wednesday: Free Agency Open Thread
On Tuesday, we got some requests to list the newest items at the top of the thread, so we’ll give that a shot today.
As you know by now, we’ll keep this post updated all day long with the latest free agency buzz.
8:28: Darrelle Revis will not be coming to Philadelphia. He signed a one-year, $12 million deal to join the New England Patriots, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
5:42: Looks like Mike Neal has re-signed with the Packers. We were told that the Eagles were showing some interest early on. — TM
Hi Green Bay!!! I’ll enjoy your winters for two more years!!

5:33: Take a potential DB target off the board:
CB Corey Graham agreed to a 4yr, $16 m deal with the #Bills, source confirmed.

5:27: Reuben Frank of CSN Philly says Revis to the Eagles is “not going to happen.”
4:08: Here we go…
Source tells me the Eagles are expected to be among the teams in mix for UFA Darrelle Revis.

3:50: The Patriots have released Isaac Sopoaga. I still can’t believe Chip Kelly got snookered on that mid-season trade. I really think the Eagles would have won the Super Bowl had they kept Sopoaga. –SK
3:46: It’s official. Darrelle Revis is a free agent. The Bucs released the cornerback, and he is now available to sign wherever he wants. As noted below, the Eagles were reportedly one of the teams that called. Howie Roseman has warned against expecting a big splash, but does the organization consider Revis an exception? –SK
2:02: I thought Ware might have made sense for the Eagles at the right price. But this would exceed “right price” guidelines.
Filed to ESPN: Pending a physical, former Cowboys DE DeMarcus Ware reached agreement with Broncos on 3-year, $30M contract include $20M gtd.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 12, 2014
It’s fair to say the whole “all-in” thing applies to the 2014 Denver Broncos. –SK
1:55: Checking in on former Eagles…
The New England Patriots have shown interest in free agent WR Jason Avant, according to a source. No visit scheduled yet.
— Doug Kyed (@DougKyedNESN) March 12, 2014
12:43: One guy I thought the Eagles might look at for defensive line depth. They have not been linked to him yet though:
Versatile DL Alex Carrington is drawing strong interest from the #Rams and #Browns, per source.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 12, 2014
11:33: Another report linking the Eagles with Darrelle Revis.
Who has called the #Bucs about Darrelle Revis? Who hasn’t? Some of them: #Patriots, #Falcons, #Eagles, #Giants. But would any trade for him?
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 12, 2014
11:27: Another special teams pick-up for the Eagles. They signed former Texans linebacker OLB Bryan Braman two a two-year deal that reportedly includes $1 million guaranteed. A Pro Bowl alternate two years ago. He is 6-5, 241. Big people. — TM
9:01: The Broncos gave Aqib Talib $26M guaranteed yesterday, which almost certainly means they are moving on from Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie:
The Broncos were in talks with DRC as well, but offer has been withdrawn now that Talib has agreed to deal.
— Lindsay Jones (@bylindsayhjones) March 12, 2014
8:56: I had defensive lineman Al Woods (6-4, 307) on my list of potential depth options for the Eagles. Woods has played in the Steelers’ scheme, which is similar to what Billy Davis runs. He’s drawing interest from the Titans, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. Another DL depth option, Tony McDaniel, is in talks to stay in Seattle, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. –SK
8:55: There was some buzz yesterday that the Eagles could be a player for DeMarcus Ware, but John Elway might not let him get out of town.
Let’s take that DeMarcus Ware/Broncos stuff up a notch: He’ll soon be visiting Denver, per source.
