Chestnut Hill Cycle Fitness’ Huge New Studio Has Yoga, Cardio Sculpt and Childcare
Chestnut Hill Cycle Fitness tripled their space, meaning you’re getting a whole lot more than just bikes.
Since 2015, Chestnut Hill Cycle Fitness (CHCF) has been serving killer spin classes (and the occasional barre class) in their 1,400-square-foot studio. But as of this past Saturday, they’re running sweat sessions in their brand new space that’s triple (!) the size and only a five-minute drive from their original location.
Even better: more space means more classes. The expansion allows CHCF to offer more than just their traditional 45-minute cycling and small-group barre. In their new studio, you’ll get lots of fusion classes, including spin and barre, spin and sculpt (where you ride for 30 minutes, then weight train for 15 minutes), and barre cardio, which is a faster-paced, no-impact barre class incorporating cardio circuits. Plus, they’ve added cardio sculpt — a mixture of cardio-dance movements and boot camp-style circuits using body weight, dumbbells, sliders, and bands), and a strength-training, Vinyasa-style yoga sculpt.
All that extra space also allows CHCF to now offer childcare, a huge game-changer for all the fitness-loving parents out there. That’s right: say buh-bye to all those times you were scrounging for a sitter (or missed your workout because of it!). And whether or not you’re doing the whole BYO kid thing, CHCF is selling fresh pressed juices from Ambler-based Aloha Smoothie Company, Après plant-based protein drinks, and a variety of macrobars. That way, you can refuel after crushing your workout.
Owner Alli Bradley says the upgrade was catalyzed by her long-term goals for the studio. “We needed a larger space to offer fusion classes (our clientele’s favorite!), larger barre classes, and other types of workouts so that CHCF’s positive energy and all-inclusive vibe could reach even more people,” Bradley says. “Five years later, and we’re in it for the long haul.” Bradley also told us that mommy/daddy-and-me classes are in the works, as well as workshops focused on self-care and mindfulness.
Their new schedule of classes can be found here. If you’ve never been to CHCF, your class is free!
Chestnut Hill Cycle Fitness’s new studio is located at 735 Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown.
