This Flywheel Charity Ride Will Have Adoptable Dogs, Happy Hour, and Free Skincare
Ride to benefit furry friends in need at this Flywheel charity ride taking place on Saturday.
It’s no secret that puppy-filled workouts are a big thing here in Philadelphia. I mean, it makes perfect sense; what’s better workout motivation than knowing you get to chill with some adorable pups post-sweat? That said, there’s a new form of a dog-friendly sweat session landing in Center City this weekend: Flywheel is hosting a PSPCA charity ride on Saturday afternoon, and you’d better believe there will be some real-life puppers there.
On Saturday, September 29, Flywheel and PSPCA have teamed up for a 45-minute fundraising ride to benefit the furry friends of the PSPCA. The ride will be led by Amandah Povilitus, whose passion for animals has inspired her vegan lifestyle of over 20 years and her annual Mooove and Gobble retreat.
After the ride, you’ll sip on, Koia, a plant-based protein drink, during a post-workout happy hour. While you’re recovering, you’ll also have the chance to meet some real-life adoptable dogs. Plus, all riders will score a gift from Franklin and Whitman, a Philly-based vegan beauty company. So, just to check in, so far we have killer spin class, puppies, a happy hour, and skincare swag all in one event. Sound amazing? We agree.
There are two fundraising levels for this charity ride, $35 and $55, the later scoring you a free PSPCA t-shirt in addition to the other event swag. Score your tickets here.
Water and shoes will be provided for all riders. This event is taking place at Flywheel’s center city location at 1521 Locust Street in Rittenhouse. While the ride starts at 4:30 p.m. sharp, they’re suggestion that you show up close to 4 to give yourself time to get set up and settled.
