Take a Look Inside Life Time Athletic’s Swanky, Massive New Gym in Ardmore

Life Time Athletic Ardmore is basically a whole city under one roof.

It almost feels unfair to call the new Life Time Athletic in Ardmore a “gym.” With an on-site co-working space, salon, spa, childcare, recovery clinic, and café, the place is basically a small city, built for people whose lives are clearly way more optimized than my own.

Given that you can rent co-working space at the new Life Time Work, eat at the café, work out on the fitness floor, and shower in the locker rooms, we can’t really think of a reason you’d ever leave the new Life Time Athletic. (Except to sleep — that’s a thing people still do, right?)

If you’ve wondered what it’s like inside Ardmore’s massive new fitness palace — which among Life Time’s top tier locations — take a look through the photos below.

The Gym

The main fitness floor at Life Time Athletic Ardmore is stocked with all kinds of brand-new cardio and strength equipment — all open for use at the $179 per month rate. Throughout the gym space, there are four designated small-group training spaces where — for a fee above the basic membership rate — clients can participate in classes ranging from cardio-heavy treadmill workouts to strength-focused Olympic lifting sessions.

On the floor above, there are six group fitness studios, which host over 100 classes a week — most of which are included in the $179 membership rate. These include two general studios — where classes like mat Pilates, barre, and strength-based boot camps take place — a cycling studio, two yoga studios (with their own furnished lobby space), and a reformer Pilates room where clients can purchase private sessions.

The Recovery Clinic

On the same floor as the cardio and strength equipment, Life Time Athletic has its own recovery clinic, known as “The Zone.” Here, members can pay $1 per minute for an assortment of treatments, from a NormaTec Pulse system to professional stretching. Additionally, the gym offers metabolic testing and has a couple of InBody scales, so you can learn all about your ideal heart rate training zones and body composition if you’re really looking to take your training to the next level.

The Salon and Spa

The LifeSpa is both a full-service salon where anyone (you don’t have to be a member to visit) can come for a cut, color, manicure, pedicure, and more. There’s also a full-service spa in the back, where clients can indulge in everything from facials to massages.

The Kid’s Area

Located in the basement, the kids’ area at Life Time provides up to three hours of childcare a day for members. Here, for $50 a month, kiddos 12 and under can not only play with toys and other children, but they can also take part in a schedule of kid-focused programming, from kiddie yoga classes to Spanish lessons.

The Café

Life Time Athletic makes healthy food a priority at their on-site café, where most of the produce used is organic, the meat is wild-caught, and everything is free of artificial colors, sweeteners, and preservatives. From smoothies to salads to take-home dinner items, you could easily get in three meals a day here.

The Co-Working Space

One big plus of having a Life Time Work membership: it also grants you access to the sporting club on the floors below. Another plus? You get to do work in these swanky digs — which include the building’s rooftop deck. There are basic memberships to Life Time Work that just include the public work spaces — like the sitting areas, tables, kitchenette, and roof deck — and then more advanced memberships that grant you access to your own desk or private office space.
