You Can Do Yoga on the Deck at Moshulu All Summer Long
The Deck is kicking off another season of sweaty sessions along the Delaware.
Hey Philly fitness lovers! The sun seems like it’s finally here to stay and you know what that means — we’re about to be swimming in outdoor workouts. One of the most noteworthy outdoor workout hubs is The Deck at Moshulu, which is kicking off its awesome on-board fitness schedule later this month.
The Deck at Moshulu, which is located on Columbus Boulevard at Penn’s Landing, opens its doors for the season on Thursday, May 17, and will be hosting weekly workout sessions including yoga, bootcamps, spin, and dance classes.
Yoga on the Deck kicks off on Sunday, May 27 at 10 a.m. This all-levels flow, led by Stacia Nero, will take place every Sunday through August 26. But don’t worry about roasting in the sun — Yoga on the Deck takes place underneath a little overhand so your shoulders (and the rest of your body) can be protected from the rays. Each yoga session is $10 a pop and scores you 15 percent off the menu if you choose to chow down at Moshulu after class.
In addition to weekly yoga practice at the Deck, there are plenty of other fun things on the books. Daybreaker will be hosting an early morning yoga dance party jam on Tuesday, May 22; Vixen Workout, a saucy hip hop dance class, has multiple pop-ups planned; FuelCycle Fitness will be hosting a boxing, spin, and boot camp fusion workout on June 27 and July 25; and SoulCycle will be hosting a happy hour where their yellow-clad crew will be giving away class cards (yes please!) on June 6.
Sounds pretty sweet right? Well, friends, this is just the start — expect plenty more workouts to make their way on to the schedule, and keep your eyes on the Deck’s Instagram for any updates, cancellations, or new pop-ups!
The Deck is located at 401 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard.
