Here’s When Dottie’s Donuts Opens in Queen Village

Remember when we told you guys that Dottie’s Donuts, the beloved West Philly donut shop known for creative all-vegan confections like rose-water pistachio and cookie-dough-filled donuts, was planning to open a second storefront (right next to fellow vegan haunt Blackbird Pizzeria!) this summer? Well, the folks over on Eater just alerted us to the opening date — and it’s verrrry soon. Insert squeals of joy here.
Per Eater, the new shop, which you’ll find at 509 South 6th Street, will be opening for very limited hours today, August 23rd. Then, they’ll officially open, with hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, August 26th. (Eventually, they’ll expand to later hours, so you can get dessert after your vegan dinner slice.) Hellooooo, strawberry-jelly-stuffed donuts for brunch!
