BIG News, Juice Junkies: Sip-N-Glo Just Announced a Third Location
It’s a big week for Philadelphia mainstays in the healthy-leaning world: First, Blackbird Pizzeria, a fave amongst the vegan crowd, announced their expansion, and now Sip-N-Glo Juicery, a favorite amongst the juice-loving crowd, tells us they’re expanding, too. Excuse us while we jump with joy for a minute.
Okay, back to the news: The folks at Sip-N-Go tell us they’re opening their third outpost — they have two storefronts already, one on South Street in Bella Vista and one on Rittenhouse’s 20th Street — this time on Sansom Street. The new location will be housed at 1700 Sansom Street, making it the second location for the juicery in the Rittenhouse ‘hood. And they’re opening really soon. Like in-eight-days, soon. The grand opening will be held on Friday, April 7th.
Like the other two locations, they’ll be slinging made-to-order smoothies and wheatgrass shots (though a complimentary coconut-lime chaser will debut with the wheatgrass shot at this location. Ohhhh), along with bottled cold-pressed juices (the Radiant Glo is a must-try), wellness shots and elixirs, and Inspired Brews kombucha. Then, they’ll have their retail offerings, like house-made nut butters (Coconut Cardamom Cookie Almond Butter. OMG), nut blends, candles and more.
With the new location opening, they’ll debut two new smoothies across the board: The Tropikale (a pineapple-y, coconutty kale concoction) and the Goji Glo, a smoothie with peanut butter, banana, vanilla protein, goji berries and almond milk.
As I mentioned above, the grand opening will got down on Friday, April 7th, kicking of at 7:30 a.m. and running through 8 p.m. And there is some serious celebrating to do: The first 50 folks who make it into the new store on Friday will snag swag mugs (filled with goodies) and a free wellness shot. Yes, please! From then on out, the shop will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Now, let’s all do a collective happy dance for having more places to quench our juice cravings.
