Little Baby’s Will Have — Wait for It — Gluten-Free Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches Tomorrow
I’m not going to lie: I haven’t gotten a whole lot of work done in the past two hours because I’ve spent approximately one hour and 37 minutes of those two hours staring — while occasionally wiping saliva from my chin — at the gluten-free macaron ice cream sandwich filled with non-dairy Thai Iced Tea ice cream that Little Baby’s posted to Instagram earlier today. Yes: A gluten-free macaron ice cream sandwich.
Have you picked your jaw up off the ground yet?
Apparently, the gluten-free French-style macarons are made by Havertown’s Brûlée Bakery — a gluten-free bakery — and Little Baby’s will be whipping up ice cream sandwiches with them at both of their locations (Fishtown and West Philly) for First Friday tomorrow. Macarons are often gluten-free anyway, but they are not often offered at Little Baby’s. You’ll be able to sandwich any ice cream on the menu between the gluten-free macarons. Excuse us while we plan our order and count down the minutes until we can get our hands on one of these bad boys.
