Back in August, we told you guys that the health-focused grab-and-go spot Snap Kitchen was making its way to Fishtown — to 1325 Frankford Avenue, to be exact, a tiny space most recently occupied by the pop-up plant shop Field. And now, just six measly weeks later, Snap Kitchen’s newest location is already set to open: The folks at Snap Kitchen tell us the official opening date for their Fishtown store is coming up this Saturday, October 8th.
That was fast, huh?
If you’re unfamiliar with the grab-and-go spot, a little background: The Austin, Texas-based chain opened their first Philly store on Old City’s Market Street back in February, and since then they’ve taken Philly by storm, with locations in Rittenhouse, Midtown Village, Villanova, and more.
Each shop offers a slew of grab-and-go meals (think: items like almond butter and maple pancakes and grass-fed beef lasagna) along with juices and snacks, all labeled with calories and helpful markers like gluten-free, vegetarian, Paleo, dairy-free and so on. You can check out their full menu here. Happy grass-fed, gluten free-friendly shopping, people!
