Where to Get Your Hands on the Most Coveted Running Shirts in Philly
Up until recently, Jon Lyons of Run215 was packaging and shipping the oh-so-coveted Run215 shirts, which have inspired many a knockoff, that he was selling through his website to everyone who ordered them himself. It became a bit too much to handle — the man does have a job, after all — and he announced on Run215 that he would no longer be doing it, which seemed to mean no more Run215 shirts. Needless to say, runners who’d yet to snag their badge of honor that is a Run215 shirt shed a few tears. But there’s good news: Starting tomorrow, Philadelphia Runner will be slinging Lyons’s Run215 shirts at all of their locations. Runners, rejoice
They’re kicking the sale of the shirts off tonight with — what else? — a run from Philadelphia Runner’s Center City store at 6 p.m. They’re calling the three- to five-mile run the 215 Park Loop and it’ll end back at the store with free Honeygrow smoothies (!!) and Yards Brewing Company beer. AND you, my friends, will be able to get your hands on a Run215 shirt before anyone else.
When it comes to shirt styles, they have limited edition red tanks and tees for the summer, then the OG black tanks and tees, all for $25. No need to sign up for the run, just head to Philadelphia Runner at 16th and Sansom after work ready to get your Run215 on in every way.
