10 Awesome Photos from the Broad Street Run — Including a Mid-Race Marriage Proposal!

Yesterday was one of those days where the last thing anyone wants to do is leave their house, let alone put on their running shoes and pound the pavement for 10 freakin’ miles. But tens of thousands of badass runners did just that, running through rain, rain and more rain to tackle the Broad Street Run. With all the trash-bags-turned-raincoats, it was quite the sight to be seen, and like one of the spectator signs below says, everyone who ran is a straight-up superhero.
