This New Philly Yoga Studio Is Hosting TONS of Free Classes This Weekend
No plans for this weekend? No problem: The new Yoga and Movement Sanctuary in Brewerytown is hosting a grand opening celebration this weekend, complete with a party, LOTS of yoga classes and performances by the staff. I’m sure you’re wondering what all of this will cost you. Well, it’s going to set you back zero dollars. That’s right: It’s all free.
All weekend long, YMS will be hosting classes that show off their unique style. The studio’s owners, yogis Noah Julian and Emile Sorger, have created a unique lineup of classes that incorporates disciplines outside of yoga like dance, martial arts and acrobatics. So expect to see the YMS instructors showing off an array of classes like Animal Movement, Hip-Hop Dance and Hand-Balancing this weekend. For those of you looking for a more traditional yoga experience, they have plenty to offer including their signature Architectural Movement class.
Because no celebration is complete without a party, they’re throwing down Saturday night with music, food, special offers on memberships, and giveaways. The weekend’s festivities kick off Friday evening with Architectural Movement at the studio (2623 West Girard Avenue) at 6:30 p.m. You can check the schedule on their here to see the full smorgasbord of events. Just note: If you want in on the action, you have to pre-register, which can be done here.
