There’s a Giant Pillow Fight in Washington Square Next Weekend
Remember the last time you were involved in a pillow fight? If you’re an adult, it was probably at least a decade ago, so if you don’t remember how exhausted you were afterward — all that twisting and turning can really wear a girl’s obliques out! — let me remind you: You were exhausted. Which is why we say you pencil the Philly Pillow Phight 2016 — a free BYOP pillow fight for adults and children, happening Saturday, April 2nd — into your calendar and call it your workout for the day.
According to the Facebook event page, the pillow fight, put on by Urban Playground, will go down at Washington Square Park at 3 p.m. on April 2nd and will go for 30 minutes to hour. Rules are feather-free/cruelty-free pillows only and light swinging with soft pillows only. Easy enough, right? You can learn more and RSVP here. And note: April 2nd happens to be International Pillow Fight Day (who knew?), so pillow fights in the comfort of your own home are encouraged, too.
