Two Big Food Recalls You Need to Know About Today
Is it just us, or does it seem like there have been a lot of food recalls recently? Earlier this week, we told you guys about the Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets recall, and now we’ve got two more food recalls to add to the list.
First, Wonderful Pistachios has recalled some of their in-shell and shelled pistachios sold under the brand names Trader Joe’s, Wonderful, and Paramount Farms due to possible Salmonella contamination. 11 cases of Salmonella have been reported in connection to the pistachios, according to a press release from the company. The pistachios were sold nationwide and you can find the full rundown of the products affected here.
Next up, Nestlé has issued a recall for some of their DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s products due to the potential presence of glass pieces in the items. Yikes. No injuries have been reported, and they believe the source of the glass is spinach that was used throughout the recalled products, a press release from the company says. (If that still confuses you, I’m with you.) You can find their full list of recalled products here.
So go ahead and check your kitchens, people! And if you find you have one of the products, don’t you dare eat it.
