Celebrate National Margarita Day: Where to Get a Skinny Margarita Around Philly
Your annual excuse to shovel guacamole and margaritas down your throat with reckless abandon has arrived: Today is National Margarita Day! (What a great way to start the week, right?) And to help you avoid guzzling down a 600-calorie margarita — because yes, a margarita can in fact have over 600 calories — we’ve tracked down a few places around town that have skinny margaritas on their menus.
And a note from a former margarita slinger herself: If you can’t make it to any of these spots today, know that most Mexican restaurants can throw together a skinny margarita any day of the year, even if it isn’t on the menu. Just ask the bartender to go light on the agave and to leave out the triple sec, and there you have it: a skinny margarita.
