The November Project Philly Is Doing a Secret Pop-up Workout — At Night!
Attention, all you night owls who’ve always wanted to try a November Project workout, but haven’t yet mustered the energy to do so at 6:25 a.m.: This weekend, Philly’s NP tribe is hosting a super special, super secret group run and hang sesh called Better Than Bedtime that starts at — you guessed it — 6:30 p.m. Hallelujah.
The gathering is actually one of 26 such events taking place in November Project cities across the country. This year’s theme for Better Than Bedtime is black and white, and here in Philly it’s even more specific: 101 Dalmatians. So you’re encouraged to dress in your finest black and white, with bonus points for cute puppy noses, ears and tails. (If anyone runs at Cruella de Vil in full-on head-to-toe fur, you will be my hero for all time.)
The group will gather at Dilworth Park this Sunday, November 8th, at 6:30 p.m. The run will be 3 to 5 miles and you’ll wind up at a secret ending location where Allagash Black and Allagash White (get it?) will be on special. Be sure to bring money for beer, and your ID. The social will run from 7:30 to 10.
The run is free and open to all. Feel free to add your name to the RSVP list here.
