Fishtown Beer Runners Documentary Screening This Sunday at the Philadelphia Film Festival

The Philadelphia Film Festival is in full swing, and this year’s lineup includes a screening that I think a lot of you will be interested in catching. This Sunday, the documentary Beer Runners — yup, all about our own Fishtown Beer Runners and group leader David April – is screening at Prince Theater.
The 70-minute film follows April and the Fishtown Beer Runners crew, exploring the camaraderie of the group (which meets every Thursday night at 7, by the way) and culminates in the group’s trek to Spain, where they meet a researcher who has studied the positive effects of drinking beer after a workout.
