Philadelphia Rock Gyms to Open Fourth Area Location
Philadelphia Rock Gyms just announced that it’s adding a fourth location to its ever-growing family tree of rock-climbing facilities. The new gym will be located in Wyncote, serving climbers in Plymouth Meeting, Fort Washington, Willow Grove and Jenkintown.
The new 10,000-square-foot facility will feature bouldering areas; top rope routes, with 40 rope stations; and lead climbing. There will also be a fitness room and locker rooms. The gym is meant to accommodate new and experienced climbers alike.
The new gym, which has a target opening date of early 2016, will be located at 827 Glenside Avenue in Wyncote. PRG’s other gyms are in Oaks, Valley and East Falls.
