Just a quick PSA here, folks, that registration for the always popular Chili Run opened this morning. I’m being brief because I don’t want you to miss out: As of right now, the race is already at 30 percent capacity, and registration has only been open for a few hours.

If you need a refresher, the Chili Run takes place over in Pitman, New Jersey, in the absolute dead of winter — next year, on January 31st. First, you’ll freeze your cheeks off on a chip-timed two-mile run. Then, you’ll warm up with a crock of piping hot chili and a beer to wash it down with. You’ll also get a long-sleeve tech shirt, and awards will be handed out to top finishers, fastest team, largest team (yes, you’ll want to convince all your friends to partake), and ugliest sweater.

Registration is $33. Get on it here.
