Do This: Outdoor Yoga and Beer Tasting at Barren Hill Tavern

Yoga on the Ridge is doing a special edition of its popular Happy Hour Yoga series.

Yoga on the Ridge is stepping up its always popular Happy Hour Yoga class with a field trip this month to Barren Hill Tavern and Brewery in Lafayette Hill.

This Friday, yoga instructor Theresa Conroy and beer expert Don Russell — who also just so happen to be married, awww — are taking their show on the road for a special edition of their yoga-and-beer-tasting class. It’ll begin with a serene outdoor yoga session on the grounds of Barren Hill Tavern. Then you’ll take it indoors for a beer tasting with Russell, who until just last week served as the longtime Daily News beer columnist, Joe Sixpack, before accepting a new position as executive director of the Garden State Craft Brewers Guild. So yeah, he knows his stuff. The tasting will feature Barren Hill’s fall brews, as well as light bites from the tavern.

It’s $35 for the whole event. The yoga class is suitable for all levels, but you’ll want to bring your mat. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
